Can someone see through your cell phone camera while they're on the phone with you?
My friend told me that if you're talking to someone on the phone, they can see through your cell phone camera at the same time. I don't even know how you would do that, but this makes me feel really paranoid.
I don't know what kind of phone you have, but the camera lens on mine is on the outside, as in, the side I hold away from my face while talking. And even if that wasn't the case, you hold it up against your face ... all they could see is black.
This is moot anyway, cell phone cameras don't "transmit" video signals. The best they can do is record video and send it. Most cell carriers have all they can do to keep voice calls from disconnecting ... seeing people through the camera is like ... Star Trek.
Your friend is trying to mess with you.
