How can I set up remote desktop for windows XPP with a Verizon wireless card on the office...?

on the laptop I want to use to access the office computer? The wireless card seems to reset the IP address every time it starts and or stops to look at something new, so every time we open, close, and reopen IE, for example, the card uses a new IP address. Any brilliant tech help out there? Thanks...

I'm not sure if this will help or not, but you can try using Dynamic DNS at dyndns.org. This is a free service that will update your IP address every time it changes.

You make a free account with them and a domain name. Then you install the software on your computer. Every time your ip changes the computer will update the ip address on your domain name.

For example, you create a domain name tgdgd.dyndns.org.
You can use that domain name all the time rather than an ip address.

That domain name will then redirect to your ip address that constantly changes. The ip address that constantly changes is updated whenever it changes.
