Led light firsttimer?

I have two white 8 mm, two red 5 mm and one yellow 5 mm leds connected in series. I also have 5.6kohm, 10kohm and 100kohm resistors and an old nextel phone charger. can I make these leds light up? I also have a usb phone chargers(mini usb)....Help? Im a newb.

well if you use the usb phone charger, then I don't think you will have to worry about a burnout with the 8mm, although you might want to give some resistance for the red and yellow leds, since the usb gives five volts, and don't worry too much about burning some things out every once in a while, its not like they explode (or at least most of them don't, the ones that do normally only make a small one, and it takes a lot of power to do that), and they are pretty cheap
