What is the best way to shine a black pair of boots?
I am familiar with the process of shining regular dress shoes, but I found out it's not the same with boots after mine started to flake. I went online and found out that I needed to degrease them to remove the oil, but it only ended with some over expensive boot care system. I did however already degrease them with some dawn. But how can I shine them without causing them to flake? Be specific.
very little bit of vaseline, rub together in your hands, and lightly rub them with it, dont use too much though
